Winners Start Out As Losers.
To win… we have to first admit we’re losers.
What will we win… is it perishable (unsustainable)… or… imperishable (the true meaning of… sustainability—which only the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of Israel… can make happen)?
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8; Matthew 16:25-27; 13:18-23; Luke 8:11-15; 1 Corinthians 9:24-26)
