7 Go thy way, eat thy bread [read… study… digest… the Word of God (Matthew 4:3-4; Psalm 119:133-134)] with joy [rejoice in the Word of God… praise the Lord (Proverbs 30:5-6; Hebrews 6:4-6)], and drink thy wine [don’t fight the Holy Spirit… be filled with Him (Colossians 3:15-16)] with a merry heart; [a merry heart in the Lord does help fill us with Him (Ephesians 5:18-19; Proverbs 15:12-16;17:21-22)] for God now accepteth thy works [if we believe and confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and remain faithful to the God of Israel, we are righteous with Christ’s righteousness, through the Holy Spirit, before the Father (Romans 8:8-14;14:17 ;Ephesians 5:9; 2:17-18; John 6:28-29;3:36; Acts 2:38)]. 8 Let thy garments be always white [know we are covered by the robe of Christ’s righteousness (Isaiah 61:9-11; Ephesians 5:26-27; Philippians 1:10-11; 3:8-10; 1 Corinthians 1:29-31; Revelation 3:5; 19:7-9)]; and let thy head lack no ointment [the anointing of the Holy Spirit… being filled… the hope of our Salvation (Hebrews 1:8-9; Job 29:12-20; Isaiah 61:1-3; 30:1; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; 1 John 2:27; 1 Thessalonians 5:8)]. 9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun [live faithfully to God… spouse… what our hand finds to do (Colossians 3:19; Ephesians 5:25)]. 10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might [as unto the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit (Colossians 3:17; Ephesians 6:5-7)]; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest [John 12:35-36; 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6; 2 Corinthians 6]. Ecclesiastes 9:7-10
47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things [Psalm 36:7-9;132:13-19; Isaiah 35]; 48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee [Matthew 10:28; Isaiah 66:23-24; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 13:27-29; Jeremiah 17:5-6; Jude 11-13; Matthew 3:12; Revelation 14:9-11; 21:8]. Deuteronomy 28:47-48
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12
26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. 28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. John 6:26-29
