    I’ve been reading some of what I’ve written discussing the future generations of the “seed of His servants… the seed of Abraham”.  In the study/essay, As It Was… I listed and commented on the following scripture (p. 19 of the PDF)…

    Isaiah 22 20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:21 And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

    It seems Christ Jesus will be… a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.  Is this not the next generations… children and children’s children… the seed of Abraham, who Jesus also is? 

    I need to be reminded and encouraged that “saved by faith in Jesus Christ”… seems to be also for the generations where I’ll also function as king and priest of the King of kings… and the wife of the Lamb of God in the New Jerusalem for Eternity.   

    As Hebrews 11 says… this is worth standing, testifying, living, and dying for.

    13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

    Today, the prevailing winds… the world, humanism, leftism, socialism, the “woke” movement, and so on… stand for the polar opposite.  They want to strong-arm us to bow to and accept their same desire for death and destruction in this world… not knowing they’ll regret it for eternity.

    Jesus Christ is not just a “good idea”—He is Eternal Life itself… the hope of the future and its generations.  The family represents this… and without the be fruitful and multiply bearing babies… the family ceases to exist. 

    As family values dwindle, the fears of the prevailing winds will come true for themselves.  They will experience eternal death with its agony in the Lake of Fire—“global heat and climate change in the presence of death” will be their eternal reality.  They’ll get the destruction of… male and female created in the image of God… the freedoms that are enjoyed by an individual in a free society… forever.  This existence is described as the… wailing and gnashing of teeth.

    Matthew 13 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

    But… it doesn’t have to end this way.  You can turn against the prevailing winds—don’t let the tide carry you out to sea to drown… there’s a cure.
