What I’ve been witnessing has brought these convictions.
What will we do at sundown?
Yes, I’ve written this because I need to hear it.
From What Happens Next?
Yesterday, some Republican members of Congress and Senate decided that they could no longer object to a fraudulent election because people broke into the Capitol building.
Either fraud happened or it didn’t. A protest that saw a few dozen people break windows and gain entry to the Capitol doesn’t change whether there was fraud or not. …
In order for America to heal there must be justice. Not only justice delivered to violent protesters over the last year, but justice delivered to those within our government and institutions who used their positions to attempt to overthrow a duly elected government.
Pray for justice. Pray for peace. Pray that America regains the freedom and individual liberty that it once had.
To commit murder to vindicate their definition of “murder”… to commit fraud, theft, and lying, while lashing out and rebuking those holding their lawlessness accountable, is to cloak evil. The simple and fooled, lethargic to this sleight-of-hand move, are drawn into their own destruction.
The disciple of Jesus Christ has the Holy Spirit in their heart. The Holy Spirit hates evil… we’ll feel the same. However… wrath, or vengeance, doesn’t pay. To let our anger linger past sundown into the depths of the night, do our fears start to set like cement into our hearts during the darkness where despair reigns (Proverbs 8:13; Ephesians 4:25-27; Psalm 37:7-9)? Do we become Bound To them causing us to lose our rational mind?
We become lured into that which we despise losing our credibility of who we say we are. We give those… with little, to no, conscience… a stage to hurl condemnation at their enemies lumping them together for the misdeeds of some—the very deeds these fabricators engage in self-justifying themselves as “loving, caring, and good”.
Proverbs 30 20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
Revenge feels good to pride, ego, and the flesh… it’s a strong temptation.
There can be a subtle difference between standing for, giving testimony, and defending the Truth because we don’t want to see people get destroyed through deception… or… attempting to present our flesh as an “offering” to appease an accusing world. With the latter, we make ourselves look “superior” at the expense of the “other guy” forgetting… flesh and blood can’t inherit the Kingdom of God (John 3:5-7; 1 Corinthians 15:50).
Only the Holy Spirit can show us the discernment, which sharpens over time as we yield to Him, of the intent of the heart.
King David went into battle to defend Israel or his loyal men… but… he didn’t with the intent of usurping power away from King Saul, the Lord’s appointed at that time, by pinning people against people (1 Samuel 24:5-7).
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Son of David, fully God and fully man came to reconcile, bring peace between, God and man… to cleanse and forgive us of our sins. At the same time, He said He came to bring division between people.
How can a person bring peace and division at the same time?
Jesus Christ didn’t manipulate people to turn them against each other. It’s His refusal to compromise on who He is… the Word of God… the Truth… this is what offends people. It’s our rejection of Him that causes us to lash out at God and each other with anger and wrath in attempt to “get even”… to cover-up our sin of rejecting God attempting to be our own god. Didn’t we crucify Him over our sins? The cover-up started with the fig leaves in the Garden of Eden (Ephesians 2:14-16; John 17:20-22; Matthew 4:8-10; John 12:47-49; Luke 12:51-53; Isaiah 53:4-6).
When I start to become anxious about what I’ll eat, drink, and put on… the cares of life… I start to lash out… manipulate others to influence them to favor me. I’m now trusting them to soothe my apprehensions… to make my spirit of man, that powers my flesh, look superior to, better than, others—all, the opposite effect of trusting God.
Jesus Christ will either break the pride of our spirit of man… or… crush it to powder. If we choose to fall on Him to be broken… we can be healed reconciling us back to God. If we choose to be stuck by Him crushing us to powder… we lose our identity, dignity, and joy as male and female created in the image of God becoming children of God (Luke 20:17-18; 4:17-19; Revelation 14:9-12; Psalm 37:29-40; Psalm 73).
Proverbs 14:29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor. [Proverbs 22:22-25; 16:32; 19:10-11; 27:3-6; Ecclesiastes 7:8-9]
To be broken of self-righteousness, takes patience from the Holy Spirit (Luke 21:12-19; 2 Peter 1:5-7; Hebrews 6:11-13; 12:14-15; Ephesians 4:30-32).
The world loves the shroud of darkness of the night to cover-up man’s sins of self-righteousness… to silence the conviction of them from the Holy Spirit. Destruction takes place after sundown in the black of the night… where scavengers and thieves operate.
After sundown, in the dead of night, the sinister who love darkness work at silencing what’s brought to the light about their deeds. Jesus was arrested on false charges… Daniel was thrown in the lion’s den… voting was stopped and momentum flipped in this last election… Congress killed the investigations of these suspected actions of election tampering that the law and people (by State Legislature actions and legal action) demanded… Congress passed government control of medical care (aka Obama medical monopoly) when some Congressional members didn’t even read to understand what they were voting on… ditto for the 5,500 plus page, December 21, 2020, CCP virus relief 900 billion dollar (or was it unauthorized money printing, “theft” from the American Citizen?) bill. Also, in 2020, 42.7 million babies were aborted in darkness of their mother’s womb… they never saw the light of day.
The wrath and judgment from God comes in the darkness of night… but, this time the purpose is to reveal the light of the morning… victory over darkness. Jesus Christ will destroy the deceptive darkness giving the Truthful Light the final and lasting voice… that will no longer be silenced (Exodus 11:4-6; 12:29-31; Mark 15:42- 47;16:1-7; Matthew 13:37-43; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-11; Matthew 24:26-31; Zechariah 8:2-4,15-17).
1 Samuel 2 9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.10 The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
Ecclesiastes 11 6 In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:8 But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.
The Lord will silence the spiteful raging world with His wrath and the brightness of His coming. The ulterior motives will be exposed. He will bring justice—the right to wrath is His, not ours.
Romans 12 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
When you know where you’re going, the road map makes sense.
