Chain of Jurisdiction

I fought the Law… and the Law won…

Romans 7:7-14:For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.        14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

What is governing and the governed… what creates and validates the contract, the agreement, between the two?

To govern, one has to act under, and with, authority… and it’s only valid, or has the intended impact, if the governed respect and honor the authority of the governing. 

What creates authority that’s constructive… what makes it destructive? 

What is expected from the governing and the governed… that’s adhered to by both parties?

For the governing, they can administer their responsibilities without defiance because… the governed realize their lives are enhanced through their leaders’ diligence of respecting and honestly upholding the law.  Both parties benefit. 

Is this not what Romans 13 is about… how about the American Constitution—to honor and defend… male and female created in the image of God?

What’s the enemy of this?

What does fear of retribution for rejecting power exercised over another for self-dealing, one-sided, gain produce?

It is distrust that destroys the relationship between the governing and the governed… the husband and the wife… the parent and the child… the employer and employee… the lessor and the lessee… the grantor and the grantee.  People start to clam-up… “circle the wagons”—they attempt to conceal their body, soul, and mind… refusing to offer their views, ideas, and solutions to help the other party carry out their duties.  They focus on saving their own skin from the tyranny and abuse on their lives—the covenant, contract, or transaction breaks down. 

Is this what the road to lawlessness looks like?

What constitutes law… when does it become lawlessness

Romans 2: 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Laws in a civilized society… yes, like American has been… are defined acceptable behaviors founded on proven historical record and experience. 

What’s proven and authoritative is God’s Word, the Holy Bible… where He reveals the Life of Jesus Christ… the Holy Spirit… the Law of the Spirit—all that affect our conscience… our behavior.  The soul of the individual can be saved and flourish… our conscience cleaned and purified… because of Jesus Christ, our Creator, and His Blood-Shed at the Cross as our Savior and Redeemer.  In America… the well thought out, and also blood-shed-for, Constitution is based off of God’s Laws of honoring, respecting, and defending… male and female created in the image of God.

So…

If something is proclaimed by a man to be a law… is it really one?  In other words, does he have the jurisdiction to make and enforce this law? 

To break away from the foundation of law to establish new law… does this make it suspect?  Is there a chain of discovery… of judgment… to look at, to evaluate, a proclamation to see if it’s tied to law… if it can be legitimized?

Under the American Constitution… laws can be created by the Legislative Branch (Congress… the Senate and House)… activated, signed into law, by the Executive Branch (the Office of the President)…. upheld, or disqualified, by the judicial process of review from the Judicial Branch (Supreme Court)—all are under the authority and restraint of the Constitution.  The Constitution serves as a check and balance for all branches… to keep everyone honest.

Anyway… it should work this intended way.

In everyday life, what does this chain of jurisdiction look like in action?

With individuals… their personal choices are accountable to their conscience.

With family members… they’re accountable to their family rules-of-conduct.

With the community… families in it are accountable to their community laws.

With a state in America… the communities in it are accountable to their state laws.

With the Nation of the United States of America… the states’ rights are accountable to the American Constitution.

With the American Constitution… it’s founded on, and is accountable to, nature’s God and His Laws.

With nature’s God… He is the only God… the God of all flesh, principalities, and powers—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob… the God of Israel.  Having the first and last word, by His own proclamation, He stated His Law with the Ten Commandments.

Then…

Our Creator, the only Begotten Son of God… the Word, summed up the Law of God and His Prophets with the Law of the Spirit—the two Laws of… first, loving God with all our heart, and then, our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40; Mark 12:29-31; Romans 13:8-10; 10:3-4; Matthew 7:12; Romans 12:17-21; 1 Corinthians 13:13).

God is supreme over all… all authority is subject to Him (Deuteronomy 10:16-18; Matthew 4:4; 1 Peter 3:20-22; 1 Corinthians 11:3; 15:20-26; Ephesians 1:19-23; Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 1:14-20; Revelation 4:11).

So…

Is the Law of the Spirit the final word of the chain of command… of Wisdom… of discovery… of judgment… of the Law—the fear, reverence and respect, of the Lord (see What We Fear at Writings Page)?  In other words, it’s the final arbitrator to validate, or judge, the laws we’re considering honoring, respecting, and obeying (Acts 5:28-29; Colossians 3:17-25).

John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

To subvert this judicial chain… does one become a babbling dictatorial foolish man with counterfeit authority… barking edicts posed as “laws” derived without the judicial process?  He attempts to force others to venerate these “opinions” of his hedonistic vile appetites.  This is how he tries to decriminalize his perverted notions because if they were tethered to the Law of the Spirit, his conscience would be pricked checking, or exposing, him. 

Knowing this… will you use unfounded gibberish as “building blocks” for your behaviors… your days… your life… ultimately, your future?  

Christians are bound to (rather… enjoy) the Law of the Spirit to rule and judge our conscience (Isaiah 54:10-17; Ezekiel 36:25-27; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 8:7-13; 9:11-15; 10:21-23; John 14:26-27; 1 Corinthians 2:9-16 ; Colossians 3:11-17).

If Jesus Christ… the Rock… the Corner Stone… the Law of the Spirit… is our foundation, will not dirt bricks disintegrate when they’re exposed to, or sifted by, Him?  In other words, by trusting in the weak flesh of men… using “dirt” to build upon a foundation of the same earthen ground… will not our house fall when exposed to the storms of life… like we’re currently experiencing (Luke 20:17-19; 6:43-49; 1 Corinthians 3:11-23; Psalm 68:1-3)?  

Taking into account the “dirt”… how do “save the Earth”, environmental, sustainability, and global warming fraudulent “claims and demands” hold up when “doing the math”?  In pursuit of earth worship, human freedoms and rights of decency have only eroded, including those of ranchers and farmers to produce food—the hallucination is a preserved earth at the expense of an obliterated humanity.  What we give our attention to, we worship… what we worship, we lovedoing the math, those pushing this… it’s not their neighbor!  

There’s no hope in dust—deprived of life-giving water, it ceases to be top soil for germination, growth, and establishment of roots… without which, it blows away with the wind (Isaiah 17:12-14; Job 21:17-18; Jeremiah 23:13-20; Proverbs 1:23-29; 2 Peter 3:9-13; Jude 1:11-13).

As Romans 13 says… God places leaders… then, would they not be subject to being judged according to His Law, like everyone else (Ecclesiastes 12:13; John 13:34-35; 1 Timothy 1:5; 1 John 4:7-8,20-21; 5:2; 2 John 1:4-6)? 

God establishes authority, but it’s not His will that leaders break His Law acting wickedly abusing people (Ezekiel 33:11; 2 Peter 3:9; John 3:16; 1 Timothy 2:3-4).  The abusive leader chooses to reject God, thus hardening his heart towards Him and His ways.  Pharaoh did not have to rebel against God… but He chose to, and God gave him over to his desires—as later, we’ll see God described as operating this way with the disobedient, stubborn, and proud.

To repudiate… breaking this judicial chain… is this not what false-teachers, false-prophets, and wolf-pastors do… to come up with their “strange fire” (mentioned and linked later on)?  They ignore the Word of God in its entirety to come up with their own decrees… commandments of men.  By these, they attempt to gain followers to march lock-step to fill their coffers—they enslave the serf’s conscience by heaping false-guilt on it.

Is this not considered… lawlessness?  Does not this lawlessness cause the love, embodied in the Law of the Spirit, of many to become hardened and cold (Matthew 24:11-13; 2 Timothy 3:1-7)?

Lawlessness… does this not depict the current state of America, and the other nations of the world?

Should this shock us?

Being that man is born, with a sinful corrupted heart, loving darkness… the naïve, simple, democratic popular vote, or mob rule germinate, sprout, and degrade… advancing the rot of lawlessness like black mold.  A constitution, unpopular discipline, accountability, and a healthy conscience of the prepared wise… bear the life-giving fruit from living by proven established law—the quality of life improves for everyone.

So…

How do we deal with the beguiling lawlessness?

The Declaration of Independence for America uses the words… change… or abolish and replace

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. 

In other words… get rid of it.

God uses the words… judge it… flee from… come out from… separate from… fight against… abstain from… abhor (1 Corinthians 2:14-16; 6:1-11; 10:13-14; 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22; Romans 12:8-10; 1 Timothy 1:18-19; Revelation 18:2-4).

If the chain of jurisdiction becomes broken… it’s the duty, and right, for us, who are inferior to God, to reject lawlessness by saying… No… to it.  As the Lord of it all, God does (Proverbs 6:16-19; Psalm 11:5; Zechariah 8:17; 2 Timothy 2:19).

If we don’t face the lawlessness, what happens? 

We destroy our soul… we lose control of our mind, will, and emotions.  We become fearful… quivering at the slightest shadow.  Those that continue to trust in these fleeting shadows of Egypt… the strength of man and the world… become ashamed and confused.  In other words, God will delude their mind, will, and emotions into bewilderment (Jeremiah 17:5-6; Isaiah 30:1-3, 15-17; Deuteronomy 32:16-18, 29-39; Hebrews 12:26-28; Isaiah 66:3-5; 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12; Romans 1:18-32).

What does a destitute soul enslaved to a world loving lawlessness look like?

Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

They don’t know what gender they are… they’re blind to the only satisfying, true, enduring, and profitable “one-flesh” union of a male/female marriage, that can bear children so human life can continue on… they murder their offspring, their future generations, through abortion, sexual abuse, and currently, jabs (or is it… “stabs”)… they shutter, shaking like a leaf, at dictates barked by incompetent and incontinent leaders. 

Proverbs 28:1The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

They participate in, by acting on or keeping silent about, those edicts that people are giving testimony as to their destruction of young and old alike.  They’ve normalized murder—the destruction of, in the name of their definition of “love”, male and female created in the image of God.

These people also chase after the gaudy harlot pimped to them of… false signs and wonders… false religions… mysticism… the occult… humanism—they seek strange fire to offer God.

As a side note…

I referenced and discussed the vetting of decisions in The Family Fortune.  The founders of America did not believe in going out the “save the world” at the foolish expense of the home front… i.e. saddling the future generations with enormous financial debt and loss of human life, that’s hard, if not impossible, to correct.  America, acting like a strange woman adulteress, meddling in the affairs of disinterested nations would be depleted to her destruction.

Has America embraced the ambitions of “the city of man”… the role of “a wife”… as being the disciplinarian of the world—to play God?  Our founding fathers warned us of the repercussions from this choice… she would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit.  We are relinquishing our honor, our strength, and our wealth… the labor of our hands… into the hands of strangers and our enemies—they overrun our borders… we waste away.  The Family Fortune, p.136

Proverbs 26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.17 He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.18 As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death,19 So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?

Was Jesus relating to something similar?  He told the Canaanite woman, who He called “a dog” because she was not an Israelite, she shouldn’t have the “bread of His resources”… access to His attention and power—He said… “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”  She asked for the “crumbs” to help her demon vexed daughter… He agreed… her daughter was healed. (Matthew 15:21-28; 7:6-7). 

“Bread” is to feed and meet the needs of the family at home—“crumbs” are the left over excess above the needs of the family to help those in need… qualified by, their seeking, asking for, and responding to the help.  Profits and savings are what provide for the compassion of charity.  This approach takes both the lives of the family and the “outsiders” into account… one is not favored at the careless consumption of the other (Luke 10:8-12, 16; Romans 11).

Without the Holy Spirit, and His fruit borne in our hearts, we just don’t have profitability to generate the excess… unselfish… capacity to love God and our neighbor fulfilling the Law to the Spirit—His riches are better than gold and silver (Proverbs 8).

To not filter decisions… have a judicial review… is what warps the conscience.  Is this how those justify partnering with the enemies of the God of Israel to serve Him… like King Saul did… to spread the Gospel?  Is not this the picture of ecumenical activity within some professing “Christian” churches and ministries—ways to honor and serve God are developed and agreed upon without consulting God’s Word on what He wants (Matthew 7:14-23; Romans 12:1-3; 1 John 4:1-3)?

2 Corinthians 13:Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Psalm 36:The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

If we break the chain of command… judicial review… in the Church, do we have grounds for complaint of the same happening with the state?  Is this the evidence… you cannot separate Church and state? 

The founding fathers of America understood this—they only wanted to prevent the state from mandating, against human dignity of choice with accountability, a one-blanket-fits-all-coverage state church.  To force upon the individual… destroys the work of judicial review that allows a person to be responsible for the conscience and life they cultivate… to prove what is legally binding law, and what is not.

With a conscience becoming compromised, lawlessness is being “redefined” as “discrimination”.  Changing the meaning of history and words, through falsification, to justify transgressions has become widespread—this is the real, and deadly, pandemic!

A flu season has been repositioned as an ultimate threat on humanity demanding denial of discussing the evidence—this allows unwarranted guilt to infiltrate the conscience of others producing unquestioned adherence to the redefinition.  If enough buy into what is being sold, the inhumane monster of totalitarianism and slavery is born.

With all this said…

Now, what do you think about the abortion, homosexual, transgender, and biased against “working with one’s hands to produce what is good and saving”… consumptive protectionist “laws”—any “law” that violates male and female created in the image of God… that contradicts the Law of the Spirit… and, destroys those certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness [property]?

Christians are to judge matters according to the Law of the Spirit, and will be judges in the next age… so to say we’re under judicial review in this age, is not unfounded—God tests our hearts… He wants sound and honest judges who hate lawlessness (Proverbs 17:3; 21:2; Jeremiah 17:9-11; Ecclesiastes 3:17-18; 1 Peter 1:6-9; James 1:2-8; Ephesians 5:26-27; Zechariah 8:3-5,15-17).

Imprisoned to lawlessness is egregious, but there’s hope…

To defeat lawlessness, while we still have the breath-of-life, there’s the cure… the reconciliation… for man’s attempt to divorce from the governing judicial chain—the accountability of… the Judgment of the Wrath of God on mankind for his sins.  This acquits the sentence of… heals the defilement of the conscience towards… and stops the soul’s descent into… the pit of eternal condemnation of lawlessness called the Lake of Fire… Hell!

Historically, what did this look like in action?  

Remember… what happened to those who lashed out with venomous accusations that defied God’s Laws, and tried to enforce them, on Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.  God balanced the scale… the Law of the Spirit and Justice will prevail (Daniel 3:22-29; 6:10-27).
