What Are You Fighting For?

The preborn now have a better chance of survival.  Being that the power to regulate abortion has been given to the individual state… some states are attempting to protect the preborn through their legislation.  I thank God our future generations now have a better chance for a life.

There are those who seem to vow to fight this.  They believe that they have a “right” to murder their babies… really ours—we’re all affected by the loss of the future generations.  How else could we define these intents other than… making a covenant with death?

We’re all born under a covenant with death, and naturally live accordingly… so the embracing of this darkness is a holdover from our fallen human nature.  In other words, we’ve all sinned warranting the penalty of wrath of God resulting in death (Romans 3:23; Hebrews 9:27).

In the future, it seems Israel, many Jews, and the world-at-large will make a covenant of death and hell with the antichrist (Isaiah 28:14-18; Daniel 9:25-27; Daniel 11:21-32; Matthew 24:15-25; Revelation 17:1-2,11-14).  Today, is God giving us a warning shot—a glimpse of the greater… more intense… fulfillment of this covenant that’s to come?  Just like false labor pains lead to the real ones that increase in intensity until the birth of the baby… is this following the same pattern?  Are we witnessing the “setup” of what’s to come?

Maybe…

God has a history of giving us replays.  He gives us examples to teach us about His declared final fulfillment that will bring us into His eternal peace in His Kingdom… if we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and remain faithful to Him.  Christ Jesus will rule as King of kings, forever.

Or…

If we reject Jesus Christ, He will destroy us… those who love evil, really death, and hate God and Life.  He will ultimately condemn those that embrace darkness, murder, and death to the Lake of Fire to be locked down in torment for eternity—the torment of being separated from all the goodness and blessings of life from God.  Forever in anguish, they’ll experience everything that’s called the second death.

However…

While we still have the breath of life… there’s hope to break the current curse of death on our life… and not make any future pact with eternal destruction.

Will you reject death and embrace the Life of Jesus Christ?

If you do, you’re now under the New Covenant of the God of Israel… which gives us a heart of flesh where the Holy Spirit resides saving our soul.  Through His power, we now desire to obey God developing a Life with Him hoping in the promises He gives His faithful for Eternal Life in Jesus Christ—the promises given to Abraham.

Hebrews 11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Ezekiel 37:26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. 27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore [Genesis 12:2-3; 13:16; 17:1-8; 22:17-18; Romans 4:13-18; Galatians 3:16, 26-29].
