Listening to Carl Teichrib, in Cult of the World Order, discuss man’s defiance of God… I continue to think…
To pervert, distort, and ultimately reject prophecy… does this lead to the illusion of man thinking he’s his own god… that’s intensifying?
In other words, if we reject God’s Word on how and when He will wind-up the end of this age and what the next age will be like… it’s a given we’ll start to think we can save the world ourselves… setting up our own heaven on earth. We now appoint ourselves to the role of avenger and redeemer of mankind becoming psychotic ultimately destroying each other.
We have no road map… and road signs… to warn if we’re headed down a one-way street, the wrong way. How do we know if the light approaching may be the end of the tunnel… or a speeding bullet train barreling down the track to obliterate us?
Revelation 1:The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
We’ll be clueless as darkness encroaches, because we have no “benchmarks”… revelation (why the book of… was written by the Holy Spirit)… to discern what lies ahead through the dark storm with raging waves.
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
In this context, is the woke-social-Marxist gospel from the spirit of prophecy… therefore of Jesus Christ? Or… is this from the fallen nature of man who likes to “boil the oceans” because he’s sentenced to the grave and ultimately, the Lake of Fire (Psalm 2:1-5; Isaiah 17:10-14; Jude 1:11-13)?
I believe it’s from the tree of knowledge of good and evil bankrolled by Satan—it’s continuing to be pushed aggressively by those wanting to kill the conscience normalizing it among the masses.
It seems some of the “selling” of this anti-prophecy direction is actually coming from some stamping… in the name of the Lord… on their “works” for their “seal of legitimacy”… and, others posing as “concerned” outsiders, openly ridiculing the Church, ripping at her like a pack of wolves.
How can I tell if it’s an attempted hostile takeover… if the shepherd is leading the flock down the tracks to an oncoming train—is their wisdom coming from below to take us down… or from above to take us up (James 3:13-18; Revelation 17:8;14:9-11;16:13-16;19:19-21; John 3:30-36; Matthew 24:29-31; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18)?
I look at their words and works through the magnifying glass of prophecy to see if they’re validated. I look at the words written by the Prophets and Apostles in the Bible… not the babbled hearsay that’s proven to be false with time.
Is this approach sound?
Doesn’t the book of Revelation start out with… blessed is he that reads, hears, and keeps the words of prophecy written there? Did not Jesus Christ say… let the reader understand… about the abomination of desolation mentioned by Daniel (Matthew 24:15; Mark 13:14)?
As we saw earlier… the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Would not this testimony reveal who Jesus is? Is this part of getting to know who God is—His character and plans… how He acts… the future He has in store for his faithful Saints, or the condemned who repudiate His grace, Jesus Christ? Is this not a part of prophecy?
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
It’s like thinking… if “x” equals “y”, and “y” equals “z”, then, would not “x” also equal “z”?
Listen to the linked video and you do the math.
2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
The study and understanding of Prophecy is important… it testifies of Jesus Christ as the Avenger and Redeemer.
For years, I understood general points about prophecy… but this last year I wanted to dig deeper writing… The Hour of Temptation… which has deepened my value and conviction of it.
