As It Was

World peace plans… open borders… the social gospel… the building of a 3rd temple in Jerusalem… let’s all work together as one—is a push for world peace.  I like peace.  Who likes turmoil?

I’ve spent over a year looking into and writing the study, As It Was.  I’ve written as I was exposed to scripture through study and teaching—I may update the study if appropriate.

I’ve looked at scripture and associated scripture relating to the redemption of God’s people, Israel, and the future of the Church.  What God’s Old Testament Prophets have described about the end of this age… Christ’s return… the beginning of the next age… do not match what is circulated by many claiming to “speak for God”, today (Ezekiel 13:1-16).

Yes… a 3rd temple is talked about in books and chapters like Daniel 9, 11, 12… Matthew 24… Mark 13… Revelation 12 and 13.  However… its desecration… the desolation of Jerusalem… are also described along with the persecution of the Lord’s faithful—this is not the temple, with its administration… sacrifices, to bring true lasting world peace.  Rather, a false peace is being brought forth.

Darkness and pain (described as birth labor pains in 1 Thessalonians 5or… new leaves springing forth in Matthew 24 and Mark 13) leading to God’s wrath (aka… the Great Day of the Lord… “Jacob’s trouble”) will usher in the age-to-come—the Millennium (described as the born baby… or… the start of the summer season).

The labor pains… new leaves… will bring about division… not peace—to clean house… to prove who is faithful to the Lord… who is unified with Christ, not the world, through the Holy Spirit.  God will then set up His Temple in the Millennium and for Eternity where true world peace will reign from (Matthew 13; Revelation 21:1-5,22-27; Revelation 22).  Christ Jesus will lead as King of kings after He establishes His Kingdom after His return.

The God of Israel is the God of love and mercy—He’s also the God of Truth… judgment and wrath.  Today… the Church has to go through the trials to reach the reward of faith—judgment begins in the House of the Lord (1 Peter 4:17).

Would we rather be tested… experience the discipline of the Lord today… than… face the wrath of the Lord tomorrow—to experience the anguish of the separation… the rejection… from the Lord like a piece of trash (is that not what hell… Gehenna… the valley of Hinnom south of Jerusalem… represented—the place of refuse) in the Lake of Fire for Eternity (2 Thessalonians 1)?

In context of Matthew 24—from natural events… lawlessness increasing… world unrest with nations threatening world nuclear war… the division of Israel… to the talk and preparation of a 3rd temple as prophesied—I would say the labor pains… new leaves… are evident.  We just don’t know the specific day of the birth… or… start of the summer season… but… it seems we’re approaching.

Writing… As It Was… has helped me and my household prepare further.  From understanding what the Lord says He will do, I’m able to better see the false… counter… world peace movements being set up.

To try to supplant the will of the Lord… the Bible calls this the spirit of antichrist—that which comes in place of the true Christ… the only Begotten Son of God.

I think we’re given a snapshot of this…

This is sobering—the spirit of antichrist is so deceptive and destructive… quickly… one can go from being a follower of Christ to His enemy… 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven…                       21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. 22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16).

Notice… Jesus didn’t say quit acting like… He called Peter… satan.  Did this mean the spirit of antichrist was acting through Peter at that moment?

They claimed to support noble causes… world peace… helping the poor… but… their motives weren’t pure—they we’re fighting against the true Messiah’s will.  Peter repented… Judas didn’t.

Was Jesus saying… that to reject the Lord’s will is to be ashamed of His words… in the Mark 8 account of Matthew 16… 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (Mark 8)?

In itself… the desire for peace and helping the struggling is not wrong.  But… is it the Lord’s will—is it in His timing with His Spirit… His power… or… ours?  Is the primary desire to share true peace, food, and clothing—Salvation from damnation, the wrath of God and His Judgment, through Jesus Christ—the Gospel of the Kingdom of God?  One could ask… how can you tell?  God’s declared it in His Word—the Old Testament Prophets tell us confirmed by Jesus and His twelve Apostles in the New Testament (Revelation 21:14; Ephesians 2:19-21).

Sadly… it seems those who are advocating the false world peace plans… actually seem to ultimately support turmoil and division—to eliminate those who disagree with them… those that seek the Lord’s true peace (John 15:18-20).  Kind of like those who advocate a social gospel with open borders and gun control.  They tend to live in walled estates… work in walled complexes… guarded by armed security while forcefully taking (stealing) from those that have (i.e. excessive taxation… licenses… legalism with its fees).

If we’re fighting the Lord’s will… we can repent while the light still shines—the grace of God is still with us.

From this perspective, I share… As It Was… with you.  It’s not a light read—it’s a deep dive.  With the scripture looked at, and as the Holy Spirit teaches you, I only hope it will help you in your preparation.
