Doing the Math

Look to the east…
Watch the sun rise.
Awake from the deep…
Rouse from where you lie.
Watch the light of day…
Fade the night shadows away.

Look to the west…
Watch the sun set.
Eyes weary for rest…
Only giants are met.
With the light gone…
Despair aches for the dawn.

Look to the east…
The Son of God returns.
Those marked by the beast…
The Son of God burns.
Squeezed like grapes for wine…
Their blood flows for their crime.

The battle belongs to the Lord…
Evil is slaughtered with His Sword.
Those that love Life
Were not born to Die.
Those that love death
Are with their father of lies, murder, and theft.

Imprisoned with the beast in horror…
With regret they didn’t explore…
The two choices they could be…
A bush in the salty desert never to be set free…
Or…
By the river, a watered, green, and fruitful tree.

At the end of your dash
Will there be peace or wrath?
Are you sure…
Did you do the math?

Romans 10:That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To start the dash

We were born with our first gasp of the breath-of-life to choose life… not death—that we, and the future generations of children and children’s children, may live, now and forever.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:20 That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

1 Thessalonians 5:For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

What does life exemplify… what does life point to… what does life prepare us for?

Is the culmination of life… the Book of Life?  What really matters at the end of our days?  Is it not to have one’s name written in it on Judgment Day?  If we do, we have Eternal Life (Revelation 20:12-15; 21:2,22-27; 22:18-19).

If we’ve received the Life of Christ… the Holy Spirit has entered our hearts, through Jesus Christ’s atoning Blood Sacrifice at the Cross.  With God’s Spirit, do we now stand for what is the Life of Christ?  Is this not how the Holy Spirit operates?  Does not Jesus Christ act the same in relation the Father (John 14:24-27; 15:26; 16:13-15; 7:16-18; 12:46-50)?

Ezekiel 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Romans 8:There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Is not Jesus Christ, His Life, about the Truth, not deception… Light, not darkness… Day, not night… Love, not hatred… Life, not death?

The 1st Law of the Spirit is about… loving God with our whole heart (the 1st table of Commandments—the first five Commandments).

Does this not include loving what God loves… and hating what God hates (Proverbs 6:16-19; Psalm 11:5-7; 33:4-9; Zechariah 8:17; 2 Timothy 2:19; Isaiah 11:1-5)?

Hebrews 1:But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

God created human life… and when sin entered this same life to bring about the curse of death, Jesus Christ shed His Blood to redeem, restore, and reconcile this life back to God.  If we’ve accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior of our life, will we now defend this same human life of… male and female created in God’s image?

Is this not what 2nd Law of the Spirit is about… loving our neighbor as our self (the 2nd table of Commandments—the last five Commandments)?

What can some of these violations of this Law look like?

There’s the cutting… injuring the spirit of man created in God’s image hoping the person will self-destruct [The man in Gadarenes cutting himself with stones.]…

There’s the choking-off… shutting down the breath-of-life of a person created in God’s image [The boy thrown in the water—water is meant to give life, not squelch it by driving out the air drowning the lungs.]…

There’s the burning… lashing out at a person created in God’s image with a flaming tongue, cursing and condemning them [The boy thrown in the fire.]…

There’s the stripping… assaulting the dignity of a person created in God’s image… shaming them into isolation and submission through unwarranted guilt [Sin from the tree of good and evil shamed naked man before God with a guilty conscience.  This guilt drives a naked and humiliated man to the dead to hang around their tombs… he’s driven into the wilderness of bondage.  Guilt from confessed and repented sin is absolved by the Blood of Jesus Christ—it’s no longer an issue because the forgiven, those reconciled back to God through Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, are clothed with the robe of righteousness… the Life of Christ… the Holy Spirit.]…

There’s the anger… mentally or verbally attacking a person created in God’s image, without just cause [Rebuke desires for the person to be restored, rebuilt, and redeemed… false accusation kills a man’s spirit using belittlement to discourage hoping they’ll quit… that their voice will be silenced.].

Are these violations from Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus… or… the evil spirit of death in Satan carried out by his demons (Mark 5:1-13; Matthew 17:15-18; James 3:4-10; Luke 8:26-35; Acts 19:15-16; Matthew 5:21-22)?

To violate the 2nd Law of the Spirit… is it because we’ve already violated the 1st Law?

If we are against life and Life by our actions, or silence, that support death… does this indicate whether our faith in Christ is alive or dead?  How might this relate to the Book of Life?  It’s not called the Book of Death.  The absence from it is… Death.

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works [1 Corinthians 2:5].

In other words, the person who receives, believes in, stands for, and defends life and Life… is this the math behind (the evidence of) the validity of their faith… their standing in the Book of Life?

To have our name remain in the Book of Life… do we not have to have the heart of flesh of the New Covenant flourishing with the Holy Spirit… a heart after God’s own heart?  Was this not how King David was described (also see Pure at The Series Page)?

Yes, Jesus Christ is the Judge who will determine our eternal existence… He has the final Word on Judgment Day.  However, we are also to examine ourselves where we’re at with God… that we will remain written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

2 Corinthians 13:Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates [Psalm 69:18,21,27-28; Revelation 3:5; 13:8; 17:8]?

While keeping in mind… Salvation, reconciliation with God, is through faith in Jesus Christ alone… is not doing the math only giving witness to the proof, or fruit, of… living as a born-again new man with a New Life overcoming death and Death (Revelation 2:11; 1 John 5:1-11)?

What do these following statements and comments sound like… life and Life… or… death and Death?

God breathed the breath-of-life… a living spirit and soul… into the nostrils of Adam…

God created the human male and female in His image…

God said to them… be fruitful and multiply, fill the Earth (Genesis 1:26-30; 2:7)…

Abraham is the father of many nations who God will bless through him…

Abraham is the father of us all (Genesis 17:3-5; 22:15-18; 13:16; Romans 4:16-17)…

Christ Jesus is called the Everlasting Father…

He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah (Isaiah 9:6-7; 22:17-25; Jeremiah 23:3-6; Revelation 3:6-8)…

If we are in Jesus Christ, we are Abraham’s seed… co-heirs according to the promises of God to Abraham (Galatians 3:27-29; Romans 8:16-18; Revelation 21:7; James 2:5)…

The hope of God’s calling… the riches of the glory of Jesus Christ’s inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18; Psalm 106:4-5; 1 Kings 8:51-53; Romans 11:15-24)…

The Father God has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light…

The Father God is our Father if we’ve accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord, Savior, and High Priest for the forgiveness of our sins (Colossians 1:12; Romans 8:14-17)…

The breath-of-life will enter their “dry bones” and they shall live…

God said… I will place them, and multiply them (Ezekiel 37:1-6, 25-27)…

The streets of Jerusalem will be full of playing children (Zechariah 8:3-5)…

The life is in the blood (Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 17:11-12; Deuteronomy 12:23-24)…

Jesus shed His Blood that we could be redeemed having His Life… God’s Spirit… the Holy Spirit of God (Matthew 26:28; John 6:54-57; 19:33-34; 1 John 5:6-8; Luke 22:19-20)…

The sixth commandment is… you shall not kill, commit murder.  The sixth also represents the day of man’s creation… he was given the breath-of-life from God (Exodus 20:1-17)…

Adam and Eve driven from paradise to death with strife… God provided the only way back to peace in life…

Abraham and Sarah’s bodies were as good as dead… God brought life through them instead…

The Lamb of God was slain for our sin… raised back to life, over the power of death did He win…

Before Him our case for death is pled… faced with His Blood, the prosecution has fled…

The God of Israel is the God of the living, not the dead (Genesis 17:15-19; Hebrews 11:11-12; Romans 4:18-25; Mark 12:26-27).

Here are a few linked excerpts of some previous comments, other math I’ve done, on life and the Life…

Who’s on First?… This leads to treating others, our neighbor, with love, honor, and respect—the last five Commandments on the 2nd table.

By Their… If we have the breath of life, we can choose the Life of Jesus Christ … there’s hope to be joined to all the living—if we’re dead, and rejected His Life, the door is closed… there’s none.  It’s better to be “a lowly dog” that did… than “a prestigious lion”, that didn’t.

Ecclesiastes 9:This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead. For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten

Sterility… The most precious to a human is… the breath of the life giving spirit from God into the nostrils of a man (Genesis 2:7, 18-24).  As a newborn baby, we gasp for our first breath… we become alive in this world and continue to live by breathing.  As we age… we fight for our last breath.  In between the “dash on the headstone”, hamper or stop by covering up this breathing and… we will panic.  Do this for awhile and… we will die… completing the “end-date of the dash”.

“Optimists”… Jesus Christ is found among the living that seek and have His Life in their hearts… not among the dead, and their works (Matthew 8:21-23).  The state of our condition is evidenced by what we pursue.

By His Breath… What does a human need to live?  Is it not air, food, and water… all which are received through the nose and the mouth?  Reject, diminish, or cut them off, and we’ll eventually die, physically.

What does a human need to have Eternal Life?  Reject, diminish, or cut-off, the wind or breath from God (Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit… the breath of life and Life)… the food from God (Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit… the Word of God and the Wisdom from God)… the water from God (Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit… the Living Water from God) and we will die, Spiritually with the second death (Revelation 21:8).

The Last Great Day… Remembering the day… the promise of…

The Last Great Day of the Feast of Tabernacles… the Eighth Day of Assembly… the day of the New Jerusalem… the Wife of the Lamb of God… the God of Israel will be the Temple… He will be with us… Eternity—the Will of God.

37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7

1And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.             17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22

Why I continue to do the math

I’ve written this to help me bring into context what were experiencing today… that was experienced in the Holocaust… that was experienced in the Crusades, Inquisition, and the Salem witch trial-burnings… that has been experienced since Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden because of their sin—the abuses and destruction of male and female created in God’s image… the attack on our breath-of-life and on our blood affecting our lungs, hearts, and brains [minds].  Think… masks, “jabs”, and unwarranted forced isolation of the innocent who’s charge is… they choose to live… they choose life… therefore, they’re willing to defend that of others.

Is this the math behind… are these the steps, or intents, towards… the dehumanization of real-alive people in a real world attempting to transform the God created universe into a virtual fake “meta”verse… as proclaimed by the tech-elites?  In other words… do they want to fully embrace and realize a dead world for the dead that they are?  By the way… meta means deadaccording to those that speak modern Hebrew.  And, is not death… used to describe Hell, the Lake of Fire?

Matthew 8:21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

What are the testimonies through these actions… are they about life… or… death?  Are they congruent with the Lamb’s Book of Life?

Is the Lamb’s Book of Life about hoping in… living for… thus standing for the Life of the Spirit in Jesus Christ leading to supporting life—the opposite being the appetite for death leading to Death, forever?

As a Saint, I’m called to be a king and priest who will reign on earth when Jesus Christ returns to set up His Kingdom… where God will not tolerate exploitation of humans… male and female created in God’s image (Revelation 2:25-29; 5:10; Zechariah 8:3-5,15-17; Ephesians 4:25; Psalm 101).

Are we to love life… or… death?

1 Peter 3:Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

Proverbs 8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me [the Spirit of Wisdom], watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.35 For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the Lord.36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

When doing this math, will what we stand for determine what and where we’ll be, forever… the New Jerusalem… or… the Lake of Fire.

What did they, who entered into the Promised Land of God, stand for?

Numbers 14:24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Numbers 32:11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the Lord.

What’s the description of the adversary, enemy, and prosecutor against the Book of Life… is it not a murderer, liar, and thief?  What conquerors the enemy of death… is it not life more abundantly… the Life of Jesus Christ (John 8:44; 10:9-11)?

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Notice, the writer of Romans says… a living sacrifice not a dead sacrifice… by not conforming to a… dead world.

Romans 12:I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world [James 1:22-27]: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

One last “calculation” called… faith in God through Jesus Christ

By God’s mercy, through Jesus Christ, while we still have the breath-of-life, there’s the cure to be healed from death to become alive… with Life… headed for the New Jerusalem.

Hebrews 11:Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.                   By faith he [Abraham] sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.                               16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
