I Wobble…

I’ve written essaysbooks… and, blog entries over the last few years.

I… make mistakes.  Some are out of ignorance… stubbornness… fear—I wobble.

I’ve found over the years, since accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior, that not wanting to face my mistakes… lustful appetites—my love of the world—leads to blindness.  I’ve been open to incorporating deception of world and socialistic views into my thinking.

Thankfully, there’s been the thread of my belief in Jesus Christ’s work at the cross, and the Holy Spirit I’ve been given, that’s kept me tethered to humility to change course when I realize I’ve been headed the wrong way.

From the foundation of repentance, and baptism into the Family of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of Israel, I’ve recognized wisdom in Proverbs as possibly being the the Holy Spirit (see the essay… The Spirit of Wisdom).  Maybe, this has helped me to see the vision of the New Jerusalem—the soon to be perfected Wife of the Lamb of God—more clearly.  Coupled with the distaste of socialism we’re currently experiencing here in America, and in many parts of the world, I’ve been shaken to see the fallacy of the root of… and the mindset of the world—that they’ve influenced my beliefs.

The overtones of my earlier writings started to change with my books… blog entries… latest essays.

When I remember… socialism says, “do nothing and receive”—capitalism says, “you receive when you’re… profitable and productive”… I realize I’m to be engaged in…

  • producing free cash flow (bearing fruit of the Holy Spirit)…
  • growing Capital (growing strong in the Holy Spirit—the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ—faith… being filled with the Holy Spirit)…
  • preparing for a future (storing up treasure—the “other gold”—faith… in Heaven)…
  • preparing to be part of the perfected Wife of the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ)—the Kingdom of God.

Yes… I say… to become—I’m part of the “engaged Bride”, the Church, but the marriage supper of the Lamb has yet to take place.  In the mean time… there’s work to be done in me through the Holy Spirit—the Father is pruning me because… I wobble.

The promise and blessings are true… the complete fulfillment is yet to come.

I’ve got one hope… one future… one faith—everything today has to point and build towards it.

As time goes on, will I be writing… I make mistakes?  As long as I’m in my current body of flesh… I hope God will continue to work on me because… I wobble.

With this being said… like anyone else… I have biases and opinions that are just that.  I don’t claim myself to be a teacher… to understand everything correctly.  I share what I see… wrestle with… and, understand at that moment.  All the time learning and discovering… including where I’m wrong… that the Holy Spirit reveals to me the Life of Christ.  All to say… dig into the Word of God, the Holy Bible, to look into matters for yourself.  Your future depends on it!

Said another way… this is just how I see it right now… it doesn’t mean I’m right… I’m still learning… checkout the scriptures in context.

Ultimately, I believe we’re in good hands with the Holy Spirit convicting and teaching us if we’ve repented and received the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ… the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).  Of course… we have to take the revelations of the Holy Spirit to heart.

Finally, this is how my Master, and Lord, operates… I just follow…

1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins

9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea. 10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.  Isaiah 11:1-10
