I’ve gotten some feedback from… Doctrines… on the following statements…
…after accepting Christ… you can’t destroy your “ticket to Heaven” no matter what you do [I don’t agree]…
The Lord of lords… King of kings… wants a healthy Body… Bride… Wife—if we become diseased… one would think He’d remove us… .
Is it impossible… or… not that hard… to find ourselves in the position of these statements?
Remember they’re not just spirits… they’re seducing spirits… some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils* (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
He was His disciple and followed him… but… And after the sop Satan entered into him… Judas betrayed Christ.
I also remember another warning… Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost (Acts 5:2-4). They could have done what they wanted with the land-sale proceeds … but, they presented themselves to the Church… as having given…. sacrificed… all… for Christ. Did they keep back that portion of their money… their heart… for other gods when they portrayed themselves as… all-in… trust worthy brethren… followers… disciples… of Jesus Christ?
Ananias… Sapphira… Judas… Satan entered their heart… they acted for the love of… money… For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also… Ye cannot serve God and mammon… Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein (Matthew 6:21-22; John 12:4-6).
One might say… but, Judas hadn’t received the Holy Spirit… none of the disciples had. Maybe—Jesus hadn’t been resurrected… breathed on them… but, the Father was still speaking to them (John 20:22; Matthew 16:17). Ananias and Sapphira were a different story. This happened after Christ had ascended to the Father… the Holy Spirit sent… and, had empowered the Church—they were just like we are… in regards to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is in the heart of flesh of the New Covenant. Is it possible for Satan to enter into this heart through a “side door”… and do not give the devil an opportunity (NASB)… (Ephesians 4:25-30)? It seems if we continue to grieve and quench the Holy Spirit (the opposite of being filled with)… Satan is going to find his way in… every city or house divided against itself shall not stand… (Matthew 12:25-33,43-45; 2 Peter 2:20-22). The fruit born is evident of the situation.
I’d rather just discuss Jesus’ mercy for the tax collector… sinner… and, forget about His anger… His wrath—the God of Love calling out the… Pharisees and Sadducees as… snakes… vipers… white washed tombs full of dead men’s bones… chasing the money changers with a whip from His Father’s Temple. I’d rather not hear that… brethren are being imprisoned… losing their life… for their faith… there are abortions… women and children get abused… the divorce breaks apart the family… I need to do the books in the business… there’s a limit with the check book… there are taxes… medical care costs are outrageous… there’s a difference between “spring and fall chickens”… the investment went wrong.
I don’t like being “on guard”… discussing it… anymore than you do… but… For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:11-13)… it warrants caution. The rulers of darkness… they’re the “bad guys”… we have the” Good Guy” on our side—I’d say the Holy Spirit is crucial to… the whole armour of God… I’d be in a tough position if I grieved and squelched Him.
Some will say… it’s not our job to point out (judge) the shysters. I’ll ask… was it my job to shout loudly at my wife when she was walking looking down, and ahead of me, in the parking lot when a car was backing up headed straight for her? Was I guilty of abuse… or love? She came home with me in one piece. If we love someone… we’ll shout when we see danger… do not ye judge them that are within?… (1 Corinthians 5:11-12).
The “Holy Kiss” is where love meets with truth… they’re joined together… Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other… Greet one another with an holy kiss (Psalm 85:10-13; 2 Corinthians 13:11-12). Jesus Christ… not a false jesus… gave us a one big… Holy Kiss… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
The “kiss of death”—to have only love… without truth… is like Judas criticizing Jesus Christ about the perfume… or, the kiss of the adulteress… the prostitute… For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword… . With her kiss… she’ll make you think she loves you… until she gets your money… Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house… Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger… or, worse yet… your soul… Lust not after her beauty in thine heart… the adultress will hunt for the precious life… Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death (Proverbs 5:1-10; 6:25-27; 7:21-27). It’s the kiss that betrays… But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?… (Luke 22:48). The kissing of a frog that will not turn into a prince—death itself… the beast… the false prophet… the Antichrist… Satan… Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth (Revelation 17:4-6).
Then… there’s truth… without love—the legalist’s hard heart says… For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee (Proverbs 23:6-8). They… ignore… the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith… strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel (Matthew 23:23-24). The gorilla clutches the boy… they kill the gorilla… the boy escapes unharmed… the people wail over shooting the gorilla… the boy is hardly mentioned. They march to save the whales… and, march the next day to murder babies… i.e. abortion.
The truth then becomes corrupted evil—they say they love God… then… they go out to slaughter—think… the Crusades… the Inquisition… the Salem witch trial-burnings… the slaughter of Christians, today.
It’s easier not to ruffle feathers—one is well liked… our products… our services… our books… sell easier—the profits… donations… come in… the money box jingles loudly. But, I don’t want to have to say when I see them… I just folded my hands and kept my mouth shut as I saw the assault against our faith… to Jesus Christ… and, to the Saints who dedicated their life to sharing Jesus Christ… the True Jesus… not false gods.
Bottom-line… if we’re not in the Book of Life… we go to the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15).
I’m choosing to heed the advice given in scriptures warning about the dangers of falling away—I’m staying clear of doctrines of demons – Christ’s enemies… thus, the enemies of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 6:4-6; 10:26-29; 1 John 3:10; 1 Timothy 4:1,6).
As the Irishman once said… if I’d knew where I was going to die… I’d try n’ stay away from there.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:36
