They knew there were icebergs. Their thought probably was…. so… we got this… nothing can stop us now! Who was right? Stuck on a sinking ship without a lifeboat… does it matter if you’re high, middle, or bottom class?
Psalm 49:20 A man who has riches [Mankind in its splendor (NASB)] without understanding, is like the animals that perish.
If we can’t recognize the beast and understand his modus operandi, how can one prepare to counter, avoiding destruction? Something exposed by the light… loses its mystery.

What will you say to the plate full of the world’s delicacies set before you to wolf down… thanks, or no thanks?

From my understanding of scripture, I don’t see where we’re to “take over” this cursed world for God. Rather, we’re to be a testimony to who He is… the gift of His saving grace, through Jesus Christ, offered to anyone… by living filled with this Gift, the Holy Spirit. We’re to trust Christ to keep us… waiting for Him to return to rescue and redeem us—for Him to take over and rule the world establishing His Kingdom.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
In other words, are we living loving God through being filled with His Love, which includes yielding to His Prophecy… or are we shaking our fists thinking… you can’t destroy the world with your wrath… we’ll subdue, rescue, and control it our way?
James 1:19 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; 20 for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God. 21Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
Romans 12: 17Repay no one evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.

Only God created… therefore makes the rules governing… me. I use “me”—it’s a gift from God… everyone can, and is held responsible to, choose Him as their Lord. I can pray for someone… engage their conscience by example, testimony, and encouragement of the truth… leaving conviction to the Holy Spirit. Beyond that, I’m not given the power, or authority, to mandate over another—their choice belongs to them.
2 Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

However… civilly, we’re to hold accountable the assault against the male and female created in the image of God… at the very least, for conscience sake. I think Romans 13 addresses this. But, the world loves darkness… the trend is not for those that want a stable, peaceful, and prosperous society supporting this.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
I pray that we would all have a fear of the Lord, including my enemies.

To understand being created in the image of God you would never want what the Marxist elitists are selling… or need it.
Pagan spirituality or Christianity will get you before God—with the former, you’ll stand before Him to be judged and condemned… with the latter, before Him as your Father (God the Father)… Savior and Redeemer (Christ Jesus)… and Comforter (the Holy Spirit).
Contorting the image of God created and described through His Word… desiring to ultimately eliminate it for control and power through various approaches… seems to be the “lowest common denominator” in all the “ism” movements. Abortion… forced masks, injections, and lock downs… LGBTQ frankening… salvation by works… righteousness by touch not, handle not… the “frozen chosen” divorcing the God-given conscience… are exclamation points towards that direction.
To act as the world’s “dominatrix” to whip its “7 mountains” into submission… isn’t it a variant of the same? Who likes suffering at the hand of evil? This is a hard temptation to stay away from.
Why do I think it’s destructive?
When one is provided true evidence and freely chooses a life of freedom, they now own it—a loyal ally, true friend, brother, or help-mate is gained. If by strong-armed manipulation choice is squelched, a resentful slave develops who becomes a backstabbing weasel like his oppressor. Now, tyranny is required to maintain the status of lording over and subservience—the evidence of a warped-hardened conscience.
There is only one… city of the living God… the heavenly Jerusalem… the Lamb’s Wife—her time is not yet because the marriage ceremony has not taken place. To be acting like her today… attempting to create utopia for the world through “the city of man”… does this amount to no more than being an imposter—a strange woman… a harlot with an adulterous attitude?
Has America embraced the ambitions of “the city of man”… the role of “a wife”… as being the disciplinarian of the world—to play God? Some warned us of the repercussions from this choice… she would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit. We are relinquishing our honor, our strength, and our wealth… the labor of our hands… into the hands of strangers and our enemies—they overrun our borders… we waste away.
Is it any different in the church with the loss of self-control (a fruit of the Holy Spirit)… a spirit gone rogue? People using the Lord’s Name are increasingly pursuing idolatry—the occult… mysticism… false signs and wonders… new age ideas that you manifest what you want like a god—all… with the attitude of turning your stones into bread and not relying on God to lead and provide as He describes in His Word. Did not Jesus Christ refuse the offers from Satan during the desert temptation? Jesus chose to wait on His Father, God, to make His enemies His footstool—He was going to receive His Kingdom from the Father… not Satan… or man. The Family Fortune, Ch. 11 Fame & Fortune, pp.135-136

The quest for power—once they have the power… they won’t step down. They persist until met with resistance… then, they broker compromise that allows them to resume persistence… until they get the absolute power they lust for—they want to be their own god, and yours, too.
The predecessor to aggression is petitioning through groveling and manipulation—by definition, this distorts the truth. An adjusted gospel, “trendy” for modern culture relevance, chases the “numbers” like Wall Street does. It’s used to jump into the adulteress ecumenical bed using the name of Jesus.
Just like the worship at Wall Street and the central banks… that the “power” hungry engages… the debt does come due. The Truth has the last word… time proves it.
The nature of bankruptcy—it happens very slowly… then all at once!
In an instant is also described in the Bible about becoming rich towards God… or facing His wrath in condemnation.
Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants whom the lord will find watching when he comes. Most certainly I tell you that he will dress himself, make them recline, and will come and serve them. 38 They will be blessed if he comes in the second or third watch, and finds them so. 39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not allowed his house to be broken into. 40 Therefore be ready also, for the Son of Man is coming in an hour that you don’t expect him.”
How do we take out the Goliath?
I don’t disagree with the source, damage, and direction it’s headed discussed in the documentary. To-date, I’ve not seen evidence indicating the trajectory of the trend has been interrupted. The labor pains, which may be pre, are becoming more obvious and intense. I still look for the bench marks on the Biblical Prophetic time-line for the upcoming birth on the Day of the Lord.
Experiencing the current implosion, even if the road ahead is understood, doesn’t make it any easier on the flesh—the trials rigorously test the condition of the heart… the state of the conscience. What has the last few years revealed?
Is the ship sinking?
It took hundreds — if not thousands — of years to create the (largely) safe, civilized, highly technical Western society we presently inhabit. The advancements we enjoy — including peace and prosperity — aren’t “inherent” or inborn; they’re not “human nature” and cannot exist where even a significant minority of people do not know them or subscribe to the values that make them possible. Outsiders can certainly be required to assimilate and conform their behavior to societal standards. But a society browbeaten into self-loathing won’t do that.
Without the pillars to support it, the entire edifice of what we consider Western civilization will collapse, taking every one of its achievements and attributes with it. Those keen to “burn it all down” promise utopia when they are done. But survivors will find themselves instead grubbing through the ashes in brutal and barbaric conditions they thought had been left behind centuries ago for good.3
Are you going along… down… with it?
In expectation of Christ’s second coming, my hope to overcome, what is called the spirit-of-this-age…the spirit of Antichrist, is discussed in the Unsure or Sure Surety link in Will It Happen?.

The foundation of my faith in Jesus Christ, that preparation from saying no to compromise is building, is crucial. Encouragement and growth, through fellowship and discipleship with people on the same page, is needed. The conscience is becoming more responsive… receptive to the Holy Spirit. From here, I take the next step forward committing my way to God hoping to meet Christ in the air when the birth of the age-to-come has happened—Christ Jesus has returned.
The journey of hope in overcoming through… the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… is not exclusive… anyone can choose to take it.
Proverbs 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.12 If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
Psalm 25:12 What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.14 The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

A life can be found of growing true wealth… faith in Jesus Christ… trust in His faithfulness.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
John 16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

He’s the lifeboat in the raging storm ravaged sea… a world flooded with destruction.
Psalm 107: 24 These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep.25 For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.27 They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.28 Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.29 He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
Luke 8:22 Now on one of those days, he entered into a boat, himself and his disciples, and he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out. 23 But as they sailed, he fell asleep. Self-prescribed… man-made “salvation” is the attempt to throw a mask on, to muzzle, the conscience knocking at the door. They don’t want to wrestle with the conviction of the Holy Spirit who leads us to the Cross of Jesus Christ to be Saved and Redeemed.
These stiff-necked …“fuzzy minded”… will regret the flimsy “life raft” they constructed that’s full of holes. When it sinks taking them down, the choice to answer conviction of conscience will be removed—there’s no escape from the prison of torment and darkness forced upon them… forever.
1 Samuel 2:9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.10 The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
While you still can, open the door to His King… His anointed.
